About the session
Young people take part in interview and job application challenges that mimic what local, national, and international employers use within their current recruitment processes. Individual and team assessments, thinking ‘out of the box’ tasks, customer service activities, practical and written exercises, and interviews are delivered by the business volunteers who provide the students with real and honest feedback.
These workshops equip students with essential work readiness and transferable skills that are crucial for their future careers. These skills include teamwork, problem-solving, and communication.
Each workshop features diverse volunteers from our employer partners, facilitating meaningful and engaging activities, helping students build confidence in workplace settings and professional relationships.
The session is tailored for pupils in Years 9 & 10 (and suitable for KS3-4) with special educational needs and disabilities, or with EHCP. Please book companions as a teacher ticket. Let us know about access needs on the signup form.
