About the session

If working outdoors in natural spaces interests you, visit Hampstead Heath to find out about some of the vast range of career opportunities in the environmental sector.

You’ll be hosted by the City of London’s natural environment learning team and will hear about their work. You’ll meet some of the members of the Heath’s conservation teams, to find out about the rewards and challenges of their jobs. We’ll also give you tips on getting into this vital area of work.

We’ll be mostly outdoors, so wrap up warm – but we can lend you wellies, fleeces and waterproofs if you need them.

Dress warmly.  

Wear warm clothes and a waterproof coat if possible, with shoes that you don’t mind coming into contact with mud.  We can loan wellies, fleeces and coats if needed.
